ART SHOWS Cuyahoga Falls, OH - February 2 - 28, 2003 - the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center held it's annual authorized Whiskey Painters of America show and sale. The show featured artists from throughout the United States and all their paintings were available for purchase. The C.V.A.C., which is a continuing supporter of the W.P.A., is located at 2131 Front Street in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. The center is easily accessible by taking the Broad Blvd. exit off of route 8. The exhibit was the featured event of the month and hung in the center's main gallery. The event was kicked off with an opening reception, which was available to the public, February 2nd from 4pm to 8pm. The show was available for viewing the remainder of the month, during normal operating hours of the art center. The center may be contacted by phone at 330-928-8092. Ron, a board member of the W.P.A., displayed some of his "miniature gems" at this show. For those who are familiar with the Whiskey Painters of America, the show was a great opportunity to add to their Whiskey Painting collection, and for the art appreciators that have not been exposed to these unique one of a kind miniatures, it provided them with the opportunity to start on a completely new collecting adventure!
